About the Band

5:30 Somewhere began in 2010, when a few music-loving coworkers decided to stick around after work and play music together. The band's name has evolved over time to "5:30 Somewhere" -- refering to the phrase "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" as well as the fact that the band practices at 5:30PM. They get together after work in a corporate conference room and put their own spin on an eclectic set of tunes. They are a hit at many events, including the annual work picnic and retirement parties.
